I needed to connect my Tablo to the outside antenna located on the other side of the garage. I used a male to male connector to connect the antenna to this coax cable then ran it through the attic and into the Tablo. Worked great.

The first one I ordered had a defective connector. The center wire did not extend out of the sheath. Amazon sent a replacement and the second one worked great!

I have found in recent years the price of coaxial cable has jumped through the roof. This is an excellent find for the price. The quality is good.

I did not need a special tool to hook up this cable to the coaxial outlet or to the cable modem. I purchased this because my old coaxial cable broke as I unplugged it from the old modem because I had to do a switch because the old modem needed changing.I'm using this for indoors, so I don't know if it works as well for the outdoors. I get the full speeds I am regularly supposed to get through my internet. Nothing has changed or has gotten worse. I have used it for one month, and so far so good.There was some slight resistance going into the outlet. You might need a bit of finger strength. I made sure to put it in as straight as possible when I started to finger tighten it. I don't know if it would help to use a little wrench.
