The wires are shorter than original so after removing the connection rooted the connection wires differently, it was a direct connection so it works fine. Also it is a good idea to clean (vacuum) the condenser coils and areas to remove all the lint and then to look at them often and keep them clean.

This GE condenser motor was an exact OEM replacement for my GE refrigerator at less than HALF the cost if purchased thru a normal supplier. Quick and easy to install - plugs into the existing wiring just like the old motor. No need to pay a repairman over $150 to come to your house and do this simple task - remove 2 screws, take out the old motor and replace with this new one. Took me less than 20 minutes from start to finish.

Fan fit perfectly and is working just fine. I'm glad I read reviews warning about cables being were out of order. But if you know what you are doing this is a great deal!!!

Previous motor sounded like it was slowly dying. It was easy to install this replacement and now it's nice and quiet.

After doing an hour or so of research on my refrigerator model this one kept showing as the correct one and when I typed in the model at the top of the page after ordering it says YES this will fit your refigerator. I went ahead and ordered the fan (white) and bushings too just in case. Everything arrived next day but the bushing which are still "pending".I watched a few videos on youtube just to make sure I wasn't going to run into any surprises. Seems easy enough, and I've repaired lots of things before and have more than enough tools. I empty my freezer and GO. It was obvious when I finally got to the motor it wasn't identical to this one. It was the plastic covered one. That's ok, things change doesn't mean it won't work and this one looks higher quality. I keep going, I struggle to get the fan blades off as no instruction anywhere tells me there's a clip helping keep it on. I realize that, remove the clip and it was a struggle to twist and pull hoping not to break the fan. Ohh, and yeah the fan that shipped was the wrong one (too big) so if I broke it, I was gonna lose some food.I got it all apart finally, started putting it back together and yeah, this guy is a little bit thicker than the other one so when I put it in the bracket with the old bushings it was slightly bending the bracket but not enough to say it can't work. I made it fit and started putting everything back together. It all looks good then I go to plug it in. UHHHOHHH both plugs are female. I look at the old one and realize it was male on the motor side. I quickly review the power settings and it was 115V 60Hz for both so I go get my wire cutters and swap the connectors. I wouldn't recommend just anyone doing so as you can cause a fire hazard if not connected properly.Now i'm back in business, I get everything back together, load the freezer up, plug everything in and success. This is the quietest this fridge has been in about 6 months. So, 3 stars,, this will work but I'd almost recommend taking your fridge apart for a quick look to make it easier.

OEM part fits and is easy to replace. Slightly dull Noise at first and over time has become quieter.
