Bought two of the 2 RPM 12 volt DC gear motors and was surprised how small the units are. Both broke the internal gears upon first use. I wouldn’t trust these motors to work for movement of anything over a couple of pounds, if your project allows it, go with linear actuators

Not sure if it would have met my requirements or not since it never ran. Bad motor? Not sure but I sent it back and went with another product.

This item has very, very little torque compared to the other 2 rpm motor assemblies. I guess if that is what you need then it will work for you, but it did not work for me.
