The reversible ratcheting combination wrenches from GEARWRENCH are a staple for every tool box. The flush-mounted reversing lever allows the user to switch motion left to right without needing to remove the wrench from the fastener increasing productivity. The 15° offset on the ratcheting box end allows for greater knuckle clearance and safer access to the fasteners. The ratcheting box end is designed to need as little as 5° to move fasteners versus 30° for standard wrenches and features off-corner loading for a better grip on the fastener and reduces fastener rounding. These are good quality and work great. I give wrenches hard use every day and this set is standing up well and provides good service. These have the offset ring and reversing ratchet lever which makes then easy to fit and use. I would recommend them and would buy them again.

I was pleased with the quality of the construction of these gearwrenches. But, look at the picture and note the diameter of the black part on each box end: that's about the same diameter as a regular box end, and the housing on the GearWrench is just fat enough to often limit where you can use it. I've been noticing since I bought them just how often fasteners are placed next to inside corners, pipes, etc, and can declare that if you're going to carry ratcheting wrenches, you'll need to carry regular box-end wrenches as well. I work on small engines, snowmobiles, atvs and cars; not professionally anymore but often enough.So, this is something that I could have gotten along without, but I do like the extra shininess in my toolbox. I'm glad I did get the reversible ones that have an offset instead of the others--knuckles have to go somewhere. I don't plan on getting the metric set now, though.

I'll admit it, I'm a big fan of Gearwrench products and have 5 different sets in my personal toolbox. (My son has four.) My son in law started a new job that required him to provide his own tools and I decided to get him off on the right foot. After some searching, I found this set that fit the bill for size range, style and price. The look on Tim's face when we presented them to him was priceless! And after several months of using them, the world has another Gearwrench fan!The only reason I didn't give these wrenches 5 stars in all categories is that I have managed to break one or two of my Gearwrenches over the years. That said, they were replaced under warranty. Great company to deal with!

As a mechanic I invest a lot of money in tools. I am so glad I bought these wrenches. They stand up to the rigors of auto repair and most importantly are reversible. I had an old set of Craftsman ratcheting wrenches that you had to flip over to reverse direction. The problem is that if you're in a tight space and you back a nut off without being able to get the wrench off, you're pretty much screwed. On these you just flip the lever and tighten it back up until you can get the wrench off. You only need to encounter this situation once to appreciate these wrenches. Buy them!

It’s hard to find quality 13 pc set wrenches, plus the fact that they are reversible. Got this for a good price. I hope they put the flex head on sale 😊
