I bought these to replace a set of gray socket organizers with posts. The orange set from gear wrench is aesthetically more pleasing than the gray, and the numbers printed on the posts are easier to read as well. They seem to fit all of my sockets nicely, though the drive-in points up while the socket opening points down. I don't really see a problem with that myself but I thought to note it in the review. I think the more important thing to note here is that I don't own all gear wrench sockets I have some snap-on, other tool truck as well as icon sockets and all of them have fit well on the posts. I have NOT personally run into the problem where I needed to drill out sockets to get them to fit on the posts. For the money, I believe these were a good value especially since they were a little smaller footprint than the organizer they replaced.

Yes, I like it and works as intended. Quality is OK, nice orange color, and after all is a good quality. Just don't abuse it and will last. Looking for more of this brand. Recommend.

Wanted a set of black SAE socket trays. Freight of Harbor doesn't make SAE in black. These were exactly what I was looking for. These trays look IDENTICAL to those from HF, as if they rolled off the same assembly line and stamped "Gearwrench". Only issue was that I had 3 sizes not able to go on the tray from my (non-Gearwrench) SAE socket set: 3/16", 11/32", and 1 3/16". I haven't had a need for these sockets yet, so they still live in the blow-molded case they came in, but just a minor inconsistency between brands. Nothing worth deducting a star for. They live in the top drawer of my toolbox and coexist next to my blue metric socket trays and I love the color combo.

This is a great design for keeping your sockets well organized and I like the fact they just sit on a peg so it's quick and easy to grab a socket, compared to the style of holders that the sockets actually clip into. If you move your sockets around a lot, you may not like that they are just sitting on the pegs, but if your sockets live inside your tool chest as mine do, it's a perfect solution for keeping things organized!

Ordered these gearwrench organizers to get my sockets in a more easy to find way. Instead of a line of sockets in my toolbox that you remove one and knock over 7..Anyways I say sticking all the sockets on the rails for 15mins and seeing what I have and what I’m missing. This made the what I’m missing part simpler. But I also realized I had a lot of doubles suppose never a bad thing.The rails themselves feel sturdy. I use gearwrench sockets and generally there brand if it’s available in the tool I need.. so the sockets didn’t have to much trouble sliding on rails. Like others mentioned the 9/16 1/4in didn’t fit like trying to fit a brick in a pin hole but I can always sand it down later tho I don’t technically like that idea.All and all i enjoy the trays and would buy them again if I decide to get a full set of impacts and a larger box.

Love the color and organization of my sockets. A few downsides number 1 my tool box drawer was not high enough so i had to grind down the 1/2 in organizers to make it fit. Number 2 the 12 mm socket on the 1/2 side do not fit size of holder is too large and socket is not large enough to go through. Number 3 most organizers you put your sockets faced up but with this set you’d have to put your sockets faced down to fit.

I like these better than my old set. Easy to read sizes on the supplied pegs. You do need to keep some of the sockets upside down in order to fit into the holder….so…..I put them all upside down! The pegs that show the sizes are tall enough and makes them very easy to use. The only downside here is now I see I need MORE sockets! These are plastic so need to be mindful of that but as a home mechanic this works well for my use. Definitely recommended.
