I've seen a few other "Student Driver" signs, but this one is made of a quality reflective material, so it can be seen easily day and night. I purchased two -- one for the driver's side door and also for the back of my SUV. I chose this type with the magnetic cling, because I will only be using them when my daughter is driving -- no need to mistake me for a student driver! They remove easily with no problem.

I put it on whenever I take my teen son for supervised drives with his learner’s permit. There are some jerks who see the sign and aggressively circle around us, potentially making it even more dangerous than if we didn’t have the sign. But on balance, I think it’s better for drivers to be aware that this is a student and it makes them more patient and cautious. But take it off when your student isn’t driving! We had ours stolen in a parking lot and had to re-buy.

My daughter who just started driving picked this out. It is a nice size, noticeable color, cute and helps the other drivers know that she is a new driver :)It sticks on great and has not fallen off during rain storms or highway driving, yet it can easily be removed when you actually want it to be and does not damage the car paint.

Useful car magnet but definitely intended for the short term. Used in an area where it doesn’t snow but rains a few months out of the year.

My 16 year old daughter feels much safer driving with 2 of these decals on the back of our jeep. And so do I! Let's others know to taken it easy around us
