I bought 4 of these traps in 2005. I use them every year to catch bait for ice fishing. These are the best traps, well made and easy to operate. The two halves invert and stack nicely for storage. Don't settle for anything less than Gees.

This is a well made trap, I purchased it for crawfish not minnows, I enlarged the openings to around 2" for crawfish. I used a home made crab snare I made as a bait box. Wired it on two sides with stainless wire, then used cut piece of bike tube as a rubber band to a hook (chain piece) to hold the other end. It makes it easier to load that way. Works great.
