This is a really great product. I spent a lot of time researching seat cushions for my very long flight to Europe and then traveling between countries where I'd do a lot of sitting. This cushion performed remarkably well. I didn't expect it to survive everything I put it through in regards to traveling with it strapped to my backpack with a carabiner. It never lost it's shape or fell apart. It didn't get worn and degraded. The cover was resilient and I washed it multiple times. It stops me from sweating when I've been sitting too long and provides excellent air circulation. It supports my lumbar and I have no pain from sitting for hours. It's AWESOME. I'm actually super impressed by it. It's one of my favorite purchases for the trip and I can't love it enough. I'm now a rideshare driver and I use it in my car when driving for 8-9 hours at a stretch. I just might buy another one.

A good size for use in a vehicle or eg, a restaurant chair. If you have a bony backside, this is really helpful. A little softer than the brand name competitor's, but seems to work as well for my purposes, and the case has been durable. Purple seems to not be making a similar thickness any more.

If you have a wider back end, get the bigger one. I got the smaller one and it’s not as comfortable because it doesn’t have circumference I need. Still much better than not having it though

I highly recommend. Been using for 2 years and hasn’t flattened or lost its softness. Keeps my lower back comfortable and out of pain from being in office chair several hours a day

Like other reviewers I'm commenting here that the 17x17inch size is not what this is in reality. It's closer to 16x16. That's a big deal because the normal size of this cushion available from the same seller which I already own is only just a bit smaller than their "XL". Imagine ordering a regular french fry, then ordering a large for more money and only getting 3 more fries in the box. That's kind of what this feels like.However the XL is slightly bigger, and it's enough to make it more comfortable and keep me from sliding off the cushion in my bucket seats. For that reason I'll reluctantly keep it.I currently own two of these and from others that I've tried at various outlets and sellers this is the best of a bad bunch. It's not too thin, nor too tall, and does offer some cushioning that doesn't give out after a few minutes of sitting on it.Unless you can afford the official Purple brand, this is a pretty good alternative.

Overall, great product and huge upgrade from the cheap foam cushions that deflate as soon as you sit down.Took a chance on these for football games and bleachers, and was not disappointed. The cushions are definitely not as sturdy as the Purple brand version, but for less than half the price, they're fantastic. I personally love the feel, but depending on your back, they might not be for everyone.The "egg-crate" style gel stay really breathable which is great for keeping you cool for long games. They've held up well for many games so far and don't deflate like the cheap foam ones we all have.I really love that the cover is removable. Bleachers are often wet or dirty, so it's nice to be able to wash them. And the rubbery gel cushion itself doesn't get bothered by water. If you were good with a sewing machine, you could easily customize these with your team logos.

I had a pretty beaten up computer chair before I eventually upgraded to a secret lab chair. My arse and back was hurting something fierce and I really didn't want to spend that much money on a purple cushion."It's cheap so I can't expect much" Was my first though when buying this.All I can say is, it's 100% worth it for SL chair owners that's not happy with the stiffness of their chair.
