I needed a comfortable pad for my car and the 1-1/4 inch ones I had were not heavy enough. This 2-inch one is perfect--gets me up higher so I can see better and is very comfortable. Saves the tail bone. I do not find it too squishy as some do. Also, please note: this pad is REALLY 2" THICK as they claim ! Many are advertised as 2" but are not!

I personally like this. I actually struggle with sitting in chairs for sort periods of time. I have arthritis, degenerative disk disease, & injury in my spine/tail bone. If I sit up straight my tailbone goes numb with shooting pains through my back/neck and legs. With this and another seat pad I managed to effectively get ride of that problem. I think just this could work for others but if not, try what I did. I will have both these reviewed so look into my reviews to find the other seat pad. I love both of mine. Iwould say this deserves 4 stars no question. Quality is nice, I'm sure there are fancy covers somewhere too. It wasn't stinky, very squishy to me and not flat. Fits smaller in my gaming chair but that's ok. Very easy use. Performance is great. I recommend this if you have similar problems.

This is not as comfy as the next thinner cushion. It is too firm and less cushioning.My mom likes it, but too hard for me.

1st cushion that I have found that fits my needs!!! I have purchased and returned several other “soft cushions†for tailbone pain. This cushion is the ONLY ONE THAT HELPS!!! I HIGHLY recommend this item if you need a truly “soft cushionâ€!!! Also, the cover is removable for washing…AMAZING! I would recommend and purchase again!!!

3/4 inch is not extra thick in any sense of the word. It's also quite tiny in the other dimensions.This may be suitable for someone the size of a 12 yo girl, but not a moderately sized adult.

This cushion is comfortable and I have found that it allows me to have a comfortable seat on a hard (wooden) chair. The cell structure does feel odd at first, it does not have the feel of a smooth cushion.It is worth trying out if you have to sit for a period of time on a hard surface.
