About Air Suspension Valve Block

Air Suspension Control Valves are used to automatically control the vehicle’s ride height by inflating and deflating the air suspension bellows to adjust for variations between loaded and unloaded vehicles.

It's an electronically-controlled module that's used in air suspension systems to fill and vent each air bag, allows you to monitor the pressures of each air bellow in your suspension system.

The item shipped quickly but wasn't well wrapped inside the box. That said, it was exactly as advertised and came with new Voss connectors (which was a nice bonus.) and brass inserts in the block which is an upgrade from the factory plastic unit. I had to install this in the rear which is a chore but worked perfectly and I no longer have the rear air shocks sagging.

Updated review: while this valve block first appeared to be a great alternative to a more expensive genuine one, it has a power supply issue. My LR3 started giving me a suspension fault that wouldn’t clear. The diagnostic tool said it was an intermittent relief valve power supply issue. Upon pulling the relief valve out from the frame, the electrical connector fell off of the unit without any resistance at all. I cleaned everything and zip tied the electrical connector back into the relief valve block. The code cleared for a day and came back. I ended up removing it and instead cleaned and replaced the o-rings in the original genuine unit I had removed. The code cleared itself and hasn’t come back. When the electrical connector was plugged into the genuine unit, there was an audible click and it was tight as it should be. My recommendation is that you invest in a valve block rebuild kit from an online source and just rebuild the genuine unit, or purchase a certified rebuilt one. It’s cheap and easy enough to do.Original review: Direct replacement and fitment, and a great alternative for those on a budget. Easy to install if you know what you’re doing.

The fitment is ok, but the appliance itself is fracture and leaking air from cracks in the shell casing..

Took about 30 minutes to install on a 2005 Land Rover LR3. Make sure you have a good jack, jack stands and wheel chocks. Here's what I did -Air the system down with the GAP IID tool, remove the front passenger wheel, wheel arch liner and wheel well cover. I would recommend having some extra body panel clips and Land Rover body clips in case you break these when you're pulling the parts off.Disconnect the electrical plug from the old valve block. Disconnecting the old VOSS connectors was probably the most difficult part since the little brass ring won't want to come off (you have to use pliers/screwdriver to break it off the hose).Push the air hoses into the new valve block, attach the electrical plug, and gently slide the valve block back into the three holes. Replace wheel well and wheel arch, and front tire. Don't forget to check the torque settings on your lug nuts first on the ground, and then again after a few miles of driving. After the system is aired down, it's going to take a few minutes for everything to air back up. I watched the reading on my Gap IID Tool to make sure everything was working fine. The back raised up pretty quickly, and the front started rising again after 2-3 minutes. There is no overnight "sag" or "drop" in the suspension anymore (even after a week of not driving.) If you had an air suspension code, you may need to clear it with a Land Rover specific code reader, otherwise it should disappear in a few days if the valve block was the culprit. Follow me for more recipes.

Have had some of the after market valves turn out to be junk. This is a good quality fully functioning replacement option. Got the LR3 back in business for cheap money.

This is a direct replacement for the EAS valve block on the Range Rover Sport. Accessing the valve on the Supercharged model is more involved than on HSE and requires removal of the front bumper cover due to an auxiliary radiator being in the way for wheel well access. The new valve works because the front suspension no longer lowers overnight. Of note, the new valve lowers the front slower than the original. It was very slow at first, which I understand may be due to overworking the compressor after the repair completely deflated the bags. It has sped up slightly since the repair, but is still slower to raise, but not lower, the front shocks. Not a concern though.
