The product is good, but users must understand that it is testing the surface of the article. So, it is very important to pile the surface in order to make sure you are testing the bulk. I did test a brass coated with 24K gold and before piling the surface it showed 24K. Another point. make sure to calibrate the Gemooro AuRACLE before testing.

I own several Auracle testers, but this newer model is the easiest one to use. You must follow the directions if you want accurate readings. The only fault I can find is stainless steel often test as platinum. But if you are just testing gold I found this tester easy to use and accurate.

This is a used product with a 10% refund - which aligns with a refurbished product, which is what I expected. But it was not only used, but misused. Whoever used it, scratched the surface (as you do with the chemical testing method). A product at this condition should grant a 50% cost reduction.

Bad power supply cord and can't find any information on a replacement. Bought an entire new unit (with new cord) and confirmed issue. Anybody know where to get a cord that fits ordered several cords and none work.

Doesn't test properly, test as 10 Karat, test same item again it tests at 14 Karat, not worth the money at all.

Adquir este equipo ya que tengo 15 años dedicándome a la compra de oro pero necesitaba algo para que se dañara las prendas cuando la recibÃa, por más que fuera cuidadosa el ácido siempre las manchaba y este equipo es ideal para no lastimar la joyeria. Obviamente no sustituye en total el ácido para piezas más gruesas o que tenga duda.

Me sirvió para lo que yo necesitaba, solo en mi opinión eso de tener que lijar un poco las piezas no me convence,ya que me llegan piezas muy bonitas que puedo vender,todo lo demás muy bien.
