Solve that issue with your trunk. Replace the switch. I used it on my camaro. Works like new again.

I had been hesitant to purchase this via Amazon. To my surprise, it’s snapped right in and worked perfectly. If all you need is the button assembly, this will do the job.Be sure to place it within the housing that comes out of the door first. I tried to do so without removing from the door first and pushed it a little too far in. Works as it should.

used this on a 2014 Camaro SS, its OEM, it fits perfect, also the "logo" is facing the correct way (be careful with cheap aftermarket switches, the logo faces the opposite direction). Works as it should, no reason to think it wouldn't
