This gasket is just not needed on a 2003 LB7 Duramax. There is no gasket under the housing and GM uses the o-ring that is around the T-stat to make the seal. Nice gasket and made well but just not needed. I’m not gonna send this back because what’s $7 more when you’re paying $2,200 + $1,600 core for injectors, plus valve cover gaskets and fuel lines! 💰💰💰🤷‍♂️

So many ignorant reviews on these. These are the correct MLS gaskets where the thermostat housing/coolant crossover connects to the cylinder heads. You only want to use an oem gasket here as the generic ones that comes in gasket kits (except Mahle) will leak. I don't know why so many reviewers are expecting to install these on the thermostat cover, that's not what these are for.

Product design and build quality seem great.Just not sure what it is for? It's sold as a thermostat housing gasket for a 6.6l duramax. Definitely doesn't fit. It's about 2times too small... lolDuramax 6.6l doesn't use a gasket, just the Orings on the thermostats.

On a 2006 duramax this gasket is not needed because the thermostat has a rubber gasket around the outside edge that is raised.

This is the incorrect gasket for LT-1 water pump. The listing shows it will fit. It is NOT the correct gasket. Not even close.

I'm not exactly sure where this thermostat housing is supposed to go but it is way too small for my Duramax truck. Amazon indicates that this is the proper part but it isn't. It really doesn't matter because for these engines the thermostats (yes there are two) have a sealing ring around them that seals everything up. For the price I'm not going to worry about sending it back.

I guess it’s good gasket, but I returned it. You don’t need it in LMLNo leak w/o with. There was no gasket originally

La pièce ne va pas sur un Duramax. Ne pas prendre l’ensemble de thermostat.
