These pencils are perfect for drawing in black and white. I use them for mixed media drawing. The pencils also draw well and are easy to use. Great value for the money.

These work great for various needs. I mainly use the black for plant labels. They write on anything. The leads are thick and adhere well. But also easy to remove with white scrubber sponges. The white grease pen is really nice to use for labeling dark surfaces.

I purchased this set of grease pencils to use for writing plant names on plastic plant markers that I put in my container plants, to differentiate herbs and tomato plans from each other. My plastic plant markers were bright blue, so I used the black grease pencil to write on them. The pencil worked very well and stood out on the blue background. The words did not erase with rain or watering, and didn't even fade. I was very pleased with its performance.I ended up using the white grease pencil for hanging artwork in my home. It is often difficult to hang things straight when you are doing it by yourself. To assist keeping artwork straight, it helps to draw small marks on the wall to save where you have determined the artwork edges should go. Unfortunately marking such notations on the wall with a pen or pencil can bother landlords when you move out, and even cost you money from your security deposit. Using the white grease pencil, however, allowed me to make the helpful marks, while keeping my apartment walls looking nice, since you can barely see the marks unless you look very hard. Great product for using for that purpose.

Just okay. I have a lot of trouble peeling the paper when the tip gets worn down. In fact, I have resorted to using a box cutter to cut the paper. It seems as though the paper peel is fused to itself. Still, the china marker does work well for labeling glass jars and silicone or plastic lids. To remove the markings on the lids, I just use a bit of olive oil or whatever cooking oil I have available and let it sit on the marking for an hour or so, maybe even less time if I'm anxious to reuse the lid. The marking then wipes off easily with a paper towel or napkin.

I use the white one for writing on black cement mixing tubs, and the black one for writing on white plastic garden labeling sticks. They work very well for those applications. The grease wipes away easily when using a Magic Eraser sponge.

Had a hell of a time finding these. Ordered online and arrived wihout issue. The black one works better than the white. I use to write on my silicone freezer bags. I eventually found them at Home Depot in hand tool aisle by measuring tapes.

This is a great product for use in mixed media as it will pretty much work on any surface and provides good coverage. The white isn't quite as bright over other colours as I would have liked but it's OK. The main issue I have with this type of pencil (and why it only gets 4 stars) is it's very difficult to unwrap the paper coating to lengthen the end once it goes blunt. Otherwise a good product at a good price.
