Button Head plugs can be used for a variety of craft, woodworking and furniture projects. When fully seated, the domed, button head protrudes above the wood surface and over the screw hole edge adding a more decorative look. Slightly tapered plug body ensures a tight secure fit. The part of these that inserts into the hole is quite deep (5mm or so), so that you must sand them down to get them to fit in some furniture with shallower holes.I made a quick little diagram of the rough size of each plug. As they are small and made of wood, they vary a bit in size. They are unfinished, so you can easily color them to match the furniture that you put them in.

Delivered early (typical of Amazon orders). Buttons are very smooth and require no sanding. They took stain very easily. I'll order these again - very handy for covering screw holes - just remember to have a smooth 1/2" hole bored before you drill for the screw (a Forstner bit works very well).

Had to make a custom rack for my bathroom towel holder. So I counter sunk the holes and used these for a quality look to hide the screws which held the wooden base to the wall.

These buttons are truly hardwood as described. I stained and used clear polyurethane on mine. They easily accepted the stain and matched up with the pine I was working with. I would choose these again no matter what wood I was working with. Oh, and I used a 1/2" Forstner bit to drill the divets to sink these into. Perfect fit.

The quality of these buttons was good but I returned them because they were larger than I needed for my project. Had they been the correct size I would have been 100% happy with them, so don't hesitate to purchase.
