I originally had the Kotobukiya on my list for $120. This is a fantastic, full-feature dupe (I assume) for half the price. There are cheaper ones, but those are lower quality - I compared reviews and photos, and the most obvious difference with this one is the sturdy base. It screws in on both ends so the model doesn't fall off when posed at a downward angle. The hand itself is fantastic - life-size for an average female hand, full realistic range of motion, a bit stiff but really holds a pose. I was surprised how far you can spread or angle the fingers and palm.My one quibble is that the round pinky nail is a bit loose; I prefer the claw nails anyway, so no biggie. The hand does read a bit feminine, with its slender fingers and palm; I wish there was a bigger, more square masc version as well.Pictured here with a TBLeague 1/12 scale male action figure, and a Hoya plant for scale.

The build quality and poseability of this model are incredible. A wonderful aid in capturing the structure and gestures of the human hand. The subtlety of poses it is capable of is astonishing. I’ve never seen any poseable model come remotely close to this quality. If they made human figures, I’d explode from happiness. As it is, this product has been one of the best art-related purchases I’ve ever made and I’ve been an art teacher for decades. Did I mention that there are two sets of fingernails? One set are like claws… The other are normal nails. Mind = blown.

I've been wanting to buy this product for a long time now, and I couldn't be happier. It arrived quicker than advertised and in great shape! It's not too small either, I would say it's life size or a bit larger if you have smaller hands.Very easy to adjust and pose and incredibly useful for specific angles. I used the longer nails and they popped in very easy and are secure. Having no issues at all! Would recommend definitely.

The model is very well put together. The joints are tight enough to hold a pose but also very easy to move around. It is very articulated, so it can make pretty much any natural pose needed for a drawing. In my experience, it's so much easier to pose the model than to spend time trying to find a picture online or take a picture of my hand. I draw comic art, so trying to take a picture of my hand in a dynamic pose can be annoying. Being able to pick up this model, pose it, then leave it on my desk and reference it is so much easier and fun for me. While it is still an investment compared to the wooden hand models and taking pictures of your own hand, I think it is well worth it.The only downside was the shipping. The shipping and packaging boxes were both very beat up from the trip, but the model was in good condition.Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a physical hand reference.

Definitely worth it! It’s sturdy, moves great, and easy to pose. Bigger than I expected but that’s NOT a complaint! Every artist needs this!

I'm a professional illustrator for the last 15 years doing card and board game work since forever. This model took a bit to arrive in the mail, but the articulation is amazing- not just the lame Ikea wooden hand model where it kinda moves fingers up and down, this one has articulation for the fingers going side to side, the metacarpus(the palm bones) bending the palm shape, and correct range of motion to the fingers themselves. Also works as a pretty decent small plant holder as well, haha. I recommend this to professional artist discord and they've echoed my praise.

It's a lot more sturdy than I thought it would be. Would recommend as a drawing reference for artists.
