I ordered a set of 4 light holders to store my 82’ (1000 light) fairy/cluster light strands. These are definitely big enough for 82 feet of skinny cord/small led lights and seem sturdy enough for normal non-commercial use. If your cords are thicker it will hold less - probably about a 25’ outdoor extension cord, and for standard twinkle strands somewhere in the middle (maybe 50’?). I’m very happy with these for the price, and I would recommend them.

I loathe the long string of lights being tangled every year when I open the box even though I KNOW that last year I placed them in perfectly. After these arrived I took out our (tangled) lights and strung them on these holders and feel much better knowing they'll be in the same spot when the holidays come around.

I have a bunch of long Christmas lights that I used to store in plastic bags after Christmas. I saw these and knew I had to have it. You simply hook the end of your light to the loop end hook, then wrap the string lights across and keep looping. Then you hook the other end of the lights on the other loop end hook. I like the handle too so its east to gripe. These reels make putting up my Christmas lights much faster and more organized. Next year when I put the lights back up, I can just unwind them instead of untangling the strings!For $9.99 or $2.49 each as of this review, it's absolutely worth the small investment to keep your lights tidy. 5 🌟!

This set of light reel holders is going to help us out so much. No more untangling the lights when we go to decorate next year. My husband usually stores our Christmas lights back in the box they were bought in. They get so tangled when stored this way.The plastic seems strong and sturdy although I wouldn’t suggest using these for those heavy orange extension cords. The handle will make carrying them much easier than stacking the boxes on top of one another. Anything to make decorating and packing up Christmas decorations easier is a win for me. At a little over $3 a piece I find these to be a fair deal.
