Our whole house fan abruptly slowed down, barely able to chatter the louvers. The capacitor was accessible through the louvers from the hallway below. Removing the old part to identify it and installing the replacement took less than 10 minutes for each task. Now it runs like new.

Tested in range and works well - A lot better at this price vs. the $285.00 the HVAC service tech wanted to charge me just for this part. I work on HVAC and had an issue getting up on this 20' roof. I knew it was a bad capacitor and bought this for him to install - Thankfully he would install my part and just charge me labor.

It was made by the same plant (under new ownership) that made my original A/C fan motor capacitor. It's clearly shorter in length, but the other dimensions match, so it installed easily. My fan motor again works just like always.I would have liked to have one identical to the old one, to reduce the chances of an early failure, but at least I got it at a low price with a quick delivery so I can stay cool for the rest of the summer.

Works and fits as speced. Quick change out of the capacitor to keep my AC/ Furnace running smoothly. I highly recommend changing these out every 3-5 years. It's a quick fix and essential to your ac unit. Just be careful they hold a charge. Most times when the outside compressor will not kick on this is the reason

Our furnace had been making a noise for years just as the blower would start up, didn't think anything of it until this winter the blower just stopped working. With a little help from youtube and some research we thought we would give this part a try. Luckily my hubby is a handy guy and he was easily able to remove the old one and install this part. Just like that the furnace and blower started working properly again. Saved us a call from a furnace expert that probably would have cost hundreds of dollars.

Our home had a local HVAC company come out and do a Fall Season inspection and the system was needing a new capacitor to keep everything in tip top shape for Winter. The old one was working but not in the tolerance range and would fail at some point. The technician who came was great showed me the part we needed so I could order and replace myself for cheap or they would for a warrantied service call of $400. You know what I did!

My A/C guy told me that my capacitor was old and beginning to fail and that if it did, the fan would go out and my whole house unit would fail too! I took the side off, found the capacitor, ordered the replacement and later replaced it myself for 1/10th the cost. Its this kind of saving that makes Amazon Prime worth it!!!
