This was EXACTLY what I needed to fix the print quality problems I was experiencing and the paper creases that happened when I printed. The instructions were very well written and follow step by step. I was pretty impressed with myself for being able to follow them and accomplish the replacement successfully. Now I have a print that prints again like it did when it was brand new. You need to follow the steps carefully and gently, but it was easy to do! Highly recommend using this rather than buying a new printer if you are experiencing print issues.

Thought at least I can get a high quality fuser even if it is not genuine, but I was wrong…Come with a nice package, but definitely not genuine Brother, not even made from refurbished genuine parts or good quality parts. And doesn’t not work:1. All plastic parts are more flimsy than the original one2. Gives extremely strong plastic burning smell when works3. Overheat the printer every other page when print continuously, so the printer need to cool down constantly (see pic)4. The transparent plastics “paper guide†fell off completely when arrive and the tape does not hold it in place at all if you try to put it back (see pic). Have to use some kapton tape to hold it in place.5. The tape on the little roller is on the opposite direction, so one of them roll off to the first page I printed (see pic), stuck inside the printer and cause paper jamReturned and don’t buy

The fuser arrived very well packaged, and was a little more than a 5-minute job to install. The printer got a firmware upgrade, as recommended, and tests out like new.But- we'd like to know how to reset the Parts Life for the Fuser, now we have this new one in our MFC9340CDN.I suspect that we're not the only ones who'd like to know, but it isn't in our manual.

Had an issue with a black line and thin crinkle running down the middle of my prints. Initially, I thought it was the cartridges. But after some additional troubleshooting, it turned out to be the fuser. The black cylinder's casing had a rip and it had partially peeled off. After reviewing a youtube video on how to replace the fuser, it was a no brainer that replacing the fuser was more cost effective than buying a new one. It took about 15 minutes to remove the damaged fuser and install the new one. I was very happy to see that all my prints are normal again.

Not worth the energy & money, ended up buying a genuine Brother Fuser Unit, This was junk from day one.
