Installed these to replace the old foam in my bass. It made the pickups stand out much taller than before and gave me a much deeper sound. Expensive yes, but worth it!

I used these to replace the insufficient foam under the pickups on an MIJ Jazz Bass. It's not too hard, not too soft. Perfect.

I bought this because the foam strips that came with my aftermarket JM pickups wouldn’t give me the tension I needed to adjust pickup height. Installed this and it’s easy to adjust now!

These things are great to keep pickups elevated better however they are honestly overpriced. While they are very consistent and will last for years on end, it only comes with two strips for the price and the adhesive sticky is so fragile that if you place it wrong initially, you might as well buy another pack to replace it. For about $2 more dollars you can buy some adhesive weather tape made for sealing windows or doors and it'll do the job just as well, not to mention you'll have a full roll of them to keep replacing.
