Mine got waterlogged and shorted out leaving the sunroof open. Not to difficult to replace just a 10mm socket and a swivel to help get in there plus a torx 15 and 20 to get the unit anddome light cover off. Pulled straight out and replaced. Had to reprogram I held the open button for ten seconds or so a couple different times until it went through a whole cycle that apparently teaches it the limits.P.S. I had to to clean out the little drain holes in my sunroof with some compressed air which was probably why water got in there in the first place
