Fixed along with adding Sonnax check valve a flare up in the 2-3 shift on a trained but not extensively experienced overhaul on a 700 trans. Didn't even know there was a valve there.

Use a new or sharp threaded 3/8-16 bolt to get old one. Did not have slide hammer. Just used block of wood and nail puller/crow bar to get under head of bolt.

I like it cause it works and seals like new. I dislike how hard they are to install, not a the manufacturers problem.

This is the second one. I evidently put the other one in a little bit too far and it leaked worse than the original one.

Easy to install, added safety knowing a new one is in and not reporting on the old one to seal. Installed the Sonnax valve on top of it, just for a fail safe system.

I bought this to uninstall the sonnax valve that was caked with junk. I liked this part so much that I bought a second one.... ok, I was a little violent with the first one. Tapped the second one in and works as it should.

Item has corrosion on the check ball although package is sealed. This has been reported by others as well.
