At first my daughter who never used it giant like it. She wS tired of scrubbing the old one where the first is came off, it was smaller and dint have all the features this one does. So she finally tried it and she loves it. It makes great separation lines, and it seals around the edges so nothing leaks. It has a closure and lights for doneness. I like it uses both the 10 in and 8 in size tortillas. Super easy to clean, couldn't take it from her if I tried.

Only used it once so far so I will update if things change. Works GREAT! Disregard those lights on the lid.. preheat about 5-8 minutes. I made a simple chicken quesadilla, put a little taco ranch on one shell, shredded cheese, diced chicken, tad more cheese, 2nd tortilla and clamped it shut. It was a bit hard to clamp shut cause it was to thick I guess so thats a possible failure point as its only plastic so we will see. Anyways. 3 minutes and it was perfectly golden on both sides. Sealed well. I was impressed.

I have been nothing but pleased with my quesadilla maker. It has a solid make, does not require much clean up (as the food does not stick to the pan if cleaned before the food has a chance to harden on the maker) is bigger than most quesadilla makers I have used in the past (this allows me to use more fillings, something I am a big fan of), has a beautiful red exterior that will look good in almost any kitchen, and has a lip at the edge of the maker so that if you accidentally (or subconsciously on purpose :p ) stuff too much food inside of the tortillas, the food will be caught in the lip allowing you to avoid hot and melted cheese dripping all over your counter.That being said, I did have to order this maker twice within two weeks. The first one that was sent to me has a weak part connecting the top and bottom plates and broke within the first two weeks. However, because I was so satisfied with the over-all performance and can easily tell by the weight and rich design that this was a fluke, I sent it back and had another shipped to me without a second thought.I would recommend this quesadilla maker to anybody who wishes to expand their cooking skills in the kitchen, or simply to someone who would like a quick and delicious quesadilla without the frustrating mess to clean up afterwards.

My whole family loves it. It's easy to use and cleans easily. Delivery was not good. They did NOT follow instructions. It was left in the rain and wasn't in another box. So anyone driving by could see it sitting on my front porch. The cover that should be over the power light was broken. This could be due to the poor delivery service.

I love making my homemade chicken quesadillas. But however, this can do so much more with different fillings. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. It heats up fast, maintains the heat level. Has a nice browning.

The quesadillas tasted good. 3 mins and tortilla good.But returned it do to the second quesadilla I made the latch broke. Disappointed for a George Forman product.

A roommate of mine had one of these years ago (a different brand) and I have always kept an eye out for one. The other day it hit me to look them up on amazon and woohoo! There are quite a few different models available and the price ranges pretty drastically, but this one is definitely a great buy. I honestly have no idea why it was so cheap (less than 19 bucks!) The build quality if great, the non-stick plates work perfectly and they instantly come clean with a few wipes, even after many many meals. The power chord could be longer, as it's short length makes positioning it kinda annoying, but otherwise it's a great product.I think the #1 feature of this one is that it has a few rings on the outer edge of the plates so that it can compensate for variations in size of the tortillas. My favorite tortillas often vary as they are hand pressed, so it's nice knowing that even some of the smaller ones will still get a nice crimp on the outer edge and not spill all over.

This unit is clearly licensing GF name. I had an identical unit for yrs that did not bear his name. The non-stick works well, but I still use an oil spray. Should be cleaned right after use for ease of cleaning. A damp "sponge" works well. For people complaining about the handle breaking, food not fitting, cooking is messy, I can provide some advice. First, do not force the handle to close, and slightly press down on the top and pull the handle before attempting to open. Food needs to be spread evenly and layers should be thin. If you are adding salsa and cheese add it towards the center, spread it in a circle and make sure the circle is not more than 3 inches in diameter. If you need more salsa (or cheese) you can add it after the quesadilla has been cooked.

Pros:- The 10-inch cooking surface is just an ideal size for the quesadillas I buy in Costco.- Edge-sealing rings work pretty well if the quesadilla's edges left without the filling.- The non-stick coating lives up to its name. I just wipe it clean with a kitchen paper towel, and the gadget is ready for storage.- Six pockets make it convenient to cut the portions when its ready.- The cord it's wrapped on the base that's great for storing.- Upright storage - despite its size, this quesadilla maker is quite compact in terms of its storage.- Power indicator light - Red- Preheat indicator light - GreenCons:- The latch is somewhat flimsy.- The cord could be longer.- No on/off switch. Just plug in, plug out.- You cant go wild with the fillingFor the price I paid for this quesadilla maker through Amazon Warehouse Deals I can't complain at all. Five stars.
