Its lightweight but does not feel cheap. I have had some super thick bulky lanyards in the past and this one is not like that. Its sturdy but light and flexible so it never really gets in the way. The clip at the bottom works great for whatever needs to be attached.

Son has to have a lanyard for school. This one is comfortable and has held up after 6 months of wearing daily.

Love the design, but I have to tie a knot in the back to keep it from hanging below my waist. Total length to the bottom of the clip is almost 20", which hangs any ID near crotch level at 5'7" tall. Recommend for taller people only.
