It's been decades since I've actually played a board game. On a whim my SO and I decided to have some fun and we chose backgammon. Very nice value for the price, seems well made and has a good feel. The components and the playfield are solid and work well. Definitely worth gifting.

This backgammon set is well made and attractive. The pieces are high quality and the board stitching is excellent. Although it is advertised for travel, the compact size is wonderful on a home table or counter top and it stores easily. It comes with excellent instructions.

I was so surprised how very nice the backgammon game was. It was perfect. We purchased the middle size one. I love the bigger pieces and extra dice. The felt on the inside was perfect. I would definitely recommend buying this. For the price and quality. Wow. Very pleased.

This is a great set. Everything seems to be first class. I played this game all the time back in the 60s and 70s and then life started and somewhere my set was lost. The only thing that bothers me is the slick plastic pieces. they are slippery. I remember my old set had wooden pieces like checker pieces. Easy to grab and move without them slipping around. Otherwise, good price and nice looking set.Below, Amazon calls it a toy... it is not a toy, it's a strategy game to sharpen your mind. I would not hesitate to give this to a 5 year old or a 90 year old..... I'm 80 and love it.

We love games at our house and yet none of us had ever learned Backgammon. Now we are all having so much fun challenging each other. Eldest son likes games the last and youngest likes them the most. They both agree that this is fun! Great quality product. You are getting what you pay for with this very nice set.
