A helmet support isn't designed to protect you like a HANS device, but it -is- designed to help keep your head from rolling during normal driving and take some load off your neck muscles.This G-Force support fits the bill. It's comfortable and washable by removing the foam insert. It's a pretty simple product, hard to rate it any lower than five stars unless you got one that was made incorrectly.

I got this for my son as a Christmas gift. He said it was what he was looking for. He races at a local racetrack and tries to keep up with the required safety equipment. The only comment he made was it was a little tight. Instead of sending it back, we ended up giving the G-Force helmet brace to another driver friend and I will be ordering him the same brace but in the next larger size.
