I wear a size 12, followed advice of the reviews and ordered a size up (XL). It fit perfectly. It is form fitting so expect that. It's also very comfortable. I had previously ordered another shirt made for men and it was just too big in all the wrong places. This was made to fit my body and can be worn on its own or under something.

This is a well-made, rather fashionable undershirt, though it seems to me more fashionable than practical. The padding definitely is made of good material, and will harden and protect on impact. It is flexible and not uncomfortable to wear at all. It does pad well, and I feel would protect in a crash. Though I can't think of a crash that would require protecting those areas, vs the front, elbows, etc. The design seems more aesthetic. And it is a bit highly priced. If you can get it on sale, or there's more pads in later designs, it would be a good buy.As it is now, it is satisfying to wear and does add a feeling of safety. The material of the clothing is sleek and wicks sweat a bit. The pads are very solid without being annoying. As they warn, you'll want to order bigger than smaller, as it can run small. It's a compression type of clothing and seems on the smaller size. But if you order knowing that, it should fit exactly as expected and is comfortable to wear. It also looks rather cool, this would fit in a cosplay convention.

Two summers ago, I had a gnarly slam on a downhill section of trail that took the skin off my left forearm and shoulder. I'm shocked I didn't break a collar bone or other part of my shoulder because I came down HARD.After that hit, I ordered some elbow guards that covered the area where my forearm got it, but I didn't realize there was a solution for where my shoulder got hit. So when I saw this shirt, I wanted it immediately despite being a dude. I followed the sizing chart on the chest measurement and was hopeful that it would fit decent enough and I'm shocked at how well it fits me. Yes, it's clearly tailored to a female body, but you'd have to really look to figure that out if a guy is wearing it. I plan to use this under downhill jerseys anyway so who cares what it looks like right?! Function over form!I hope to not have to test the pads, but I know they'll work well as I've been using this brand for some time and love everything they make. If you're looking for top of the line MTB pads, G-Form is the only choice in my opinion.

This G-Form Women's Pro-X3 Short Sleeve Shirt is a well made quality shirt although it runs small for a medium so consider sizing up before purchasing. The padding is supposed to harden upon impact but haven't felt a change by slapping or hitting it by hand. It is for biking but can be worn for many other sports. I really liked that there was no bad or weird oder that comes with these types of clothing just a brand new scent you should expect. For the features and quality I have to say it seems really expensive for the one top that you have to size up on.

This MTB protective undershirt runs small, but it is meant to be worn under clothes, so you would want it to be a little snug. I would size up if you have a larger chest, so your girls aren't too suffocated. IT doesn't make you too hot, and it breathes well.I have G-Form Pro Rugged elbow and knee pads and they are very comfortable to wear and still offer great protection. All the G-Form products I have used are made well and high quality. This shirt fits easily under a loose moisture-wicking shirt, I wouldn't wear this with a form-fitting shirt it would definitely show. The shoulder pads lay on my shoulders nicely, and they don't stick out too much (it doesn't look like 1980s shoulder pads.) The side padding covers most of my ribs and the only thing that I think I would add to this (if I made this item) would be spine padding. For the price point, you do get a very nice quality item that does what it says it will.I'm really impressed with the quality and I feel safer doing double black diamonds with this on!

I've been a fan of G-Form for some time. I've used their gloves as well as their Pro-X3 knee and elbow pads. I've used the same pads for years, been in many OTB (over the bar) falls and they still look like new. When I saw the G-Form Women's Pro-X3 Short Sleeve Shirt was available, I had to snatch it up! The shirt material is the same used in the sleeving for the knee pads. It is a cool to the touch fabric that breathes great and dries fast. The pads make impacts safe and really take a beating. Years of abuse and mine don't even have a tear in them! While I certainly don't hope to have an accident, I know that when that time comes, I'll be much safer wearing this shirt along with my other G-Form gear :)

Good quality, protective undershirt. It seems to run a bit small for how little it stretches, so it was really hard to get into it, but other than that it seems like a nice quality product. I haven't fallen with it yet, so I can't really speak into the durability of it, but it feels like it would work as advertised.

This is a great shirt with awesome protective pads. It doesn't feel too bulky on and provides great protection!
