This is a metal stand, not plastic. It was easily assembled and is very sturdy. As you can see, the feet on my computer are quite wide, so I relied on accurate measurements when I ordered. The computer fits perfectly and I have no fear of it falling off. The compartments are generously sized and the drawer works easily. I looks very nice and is a good value.

Bought this to put on top of my toolbox in my shop. Great buy. Laptop on top and a nice slide drawer for pens and post it note pads etc. Easy to assemble. Pretty durable

My daughter and I got these stands for our monitors. They hold a fairly large base. It is really lightweight. I put some putty under the legs because it does slide very easily on the desk. If you don’t put this up against a wall you may want to consider the same.

The stand is very nice and I am glad I splurged and bought this instead of using a vertical file sorter on its side as I have used in the past. I was surprised it required assembly when I opened the box because the box is almost the size of the stand.Assembly is pretty quick and easy, took me less then 10 minutes. Probably should have taken 5 but I didn't pay attention and screwed the middle shelf on upside down. I liked that they included a small Phillips head screwdriver in with the screws. They included 5 small and 5 large screws. You only need 4 but I like that they included extra in case you lost one. Its a small thing that I wish more did.Pay attention this is taller then other stands I have seen. It works great for my laptop and I love the drawer. To me the rubber feet seem optional but I put them on anyway. It adds about 1/2 inch to the height so if you need something shorter you could just not put on the feet.My only wish is that they put a bar on each side the bottom of the drawer that you could use almost as a slide. The drawer just sits in there. It does slide but would slide better if it was connected. I would buy again for myself or someone else as a gift.

So, the instructions for assembly were straightforward. But the top shelf screw holes do not align with sides A and B. Now I have a Monitor Stand that isn't firmly secure.... UPDATE: The issue was me; I flipped the Riser over. I thought it was legs, not the 4-H pieces at the bottom. So everything fits now. My BAD.It is a great little stand for your upright scanner. I love the drawer.

I like everything about the stand. The size is good and lifts monitor to a perfect height. It’s strong. I’m using a thirty two inch TV as a monitor add it’s spring it nicely. Pay attention when assembling. I put the middle section upside down add had to redo that step but my faultzz. No other negatives
