Holding a Bubble
Single bubbles are round because of surface tension. The attraction between liquid molecules tries to minimize the total area of the bubble. Guess what? A spherical shape has the smallest surface area, given a certain volume. Our bubbles can be stronger and survive longer than you may think. Hold and bounce a bubble without popping it if you wear a clean glove. The caveat is no grease or oil on the glove.
Colorful Bubbles
The Great Isaac Newton discovered the origin of bubble colors. Lights reflected from the two sides of a bubble film interfere to produce colors. This is exactly the way your UV filtering sunglasses work. Changing colors on the bubble correspond to changing bubble film thicknesses because of convection flow and water evaporation.
Square Bubble
Believe it or not, bubbles can have sharp corners and edges. They may form pyramid, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron or other convex regular polyhedrons if they have to conform to a confined space. Again, bubbles want to minimize their total surface area. Bubbles are the greatest magicians. They do not calculate or measure the shapes they want to form. They just change instantly and naturally! Want to have fun in a cold winter? No problem! Make frozen bubbles to wow your friends. When outside is below at least 10-degree Fahrenheit, your bubbles could freeze before breaking. The secret is you need to bring the bubble solution to close to freezing temperature, and your bubbles need to be sufficiently strong during crystallization. Instructions of Making Bubble Solution
Combine Dish Soap and Bubble Mix
Combine 1 level tablespoon or 1 pouch (0.53 oz) of QuarkPod bubble mix with your dish soap in a large container.
- For giant bubbles: 1 cup of dish soap.
- For regular bubbles: 2 cups of dish soap.
- Important tips: Use quality ultra dish soap (Dawn, Gain or Joy). Blue Dawn gives the best result. Other dish soap brands may not produce bubbles well. Citrus-based dish soap is not recommended.
Make Slurry
Stir hard or whisk for 1-2 mins until powder dissolves and uniform slurry forms.
Add Water
Add clean water. For the best result, use warm water (~120 °F or ~50 °C).
- For giant bubble wand: 1 gallon water.
- For regular bubbles: 2-3 gallon water. Warning: too much water may not form bubbles well.
Stir
Stir gently to dissolve slurry. Avoid foaming. Let the solution sit for at least 30 mins. Then stir gently again before use.

This stuff is great as long as you follow the instructions and use dawn dish soap. It’s supper easy to use. You don’t have to use alot either so it’s a great value . Kids and adults both will have fun with these bubbles. Great gift tons of fun.

Makes big bubbles but need to add lubricate inorder to make bubbles last. Look online powder is only 1 step in making big bubbles.

While the product does make bubbles, It's very difficult to mix together. I was unable to get the chunks of the mixture no matter how long I stirred. Crazy Bubble solution mixes in so much easier and makes great bubbles.

As a professional bubbleologist, I've tried a number of brands of bubbles. I wasn't sure I'd like mixing powder and water to make the bubble juice, but it dissolved quickly and easily. I used distilled water. After testing it out, I had lots of juice left over. It settled over the week, but I gently tilted the bottle back and forth several times and it was good to go. It worked well for giant bubbles, regular wands, and great in my new foamer machine. It even made longer lasting foam than the solution that came with the foamer machine. The kids at last weekend's party loved it. Even the kids noticed how colorful the bubbles were and how much longer the foam lasted than the other brand we used. We did a test of one against the other. They loved helping me test them against each other. The bottle of powder is going to last quite a while!

Bubbles from this mix simply aren’t as large & don’t last as long as the WOWMAZING powder I’ve purchased before. I took a leap of faith with this order and I’m sad to say it doesn’t match up!
