I'm so happy with the height adjustments and foot rest. I can use the chair at my desk at 22" or raise it to 27" to use at my counter. It's very sturdy, took my daughter less than 15 minutes to assemble. Rolls easily. I've been using it for several weeks and have found no negatives about this product.

The chair is easy to put together and seems sturdy enough as I am a large guy. The only concern going forward i have is with the backrest. It doesnt slide into the bottom very far and is held on with 2 bolts. It seems to be fragile but time will tell. Also just a note about this chair, for me this chair came from canada, and was sent to Colorado where it sat for 5 days with no change in what I assume was customs. It doesnt affect my rating at all but just a point to know in case you were buying in an emergency.

Pretty easy to assemble. I took the wheels off though because there is no way to lock the wheels so that a person with weight and mobility issues could have chair slide out underneath them. Once the wheels are off though, then the chair is firmly and solidly on the carpet at my desk.

Thank you costway for developing this chair. I needed a desk chair that could sit at 21 inches from the ground and still go up as needed, that was relatively space conservative, and didn't cost an arm.Simple construction, easy adjustment. There is a little sink when you first sit down, but it's not an issue for me.I am 5'3, 135lb. My feet do not touch the ground at the setting I have it on (23in seat to floor), so the ring is very nice to have.

I'm 5'4 and the head rest is actually in the way. It has minor adjustments but wont work for you if your my height. I would imagine that any short person will have this problem with this chair. Then head rest mounting started to break so I just removed it. The rest of the chair is fine but I really did want a head rest. I have been super busy at home and just didn't have time to try to replace it and now its been close to a year.

It hasn't fallen apart yet. That's about all I can say about this chair. It goes up and down, it swivels, it rolls on carpet, it has a backrest, the foot rest is a useless feature in my opinion, the seat cushion is adequate but too wide for my tastes. If your butt is bigger than mine you might like it. You be the judge.

I have just received this chair and it checks all the marks. Build quality is 10 out of 10 for the price range. I am using it at home for microscope work. I would probably not use this chair in a busy lab with a 24/7 heavy load, but I can see this product being suitable even for this use case. I cannot comment now on the long-term durability of the adjustable post or the seat foam, but based on my experience with previous products, this is not an issue if used as specified. I weigh 175 pounds, and for this weight, based on the materials and build quality that I see, and for intermittent use, I would predict that this chair will perform a long time, as expected and as designed. I come back with details after 1 year of use.
