This is essential for all drummers with 2 bass drums! It allows you to have the hi hat pedal just to the left of the 2nd bass drum pedal, just like how you would with a double bass drum pedal. Great value and sturdy mechanism. Holds up well, and I don't have to constantly tighten.

Gibraltar makes great quality hardware at an affordable price, and this piece is no exception. Holds my hi-hat securely to my bass drum and it is easy to set up and adjust. The quick release hoop clamp allows the bracket to stay on the drum for easy, repeatable set up. Chrome plating is nice and the rubber padding on the clap jaws protect the bass drum hoop from damage. If you need one of these, this is a good choice. The product offered by their parent company has a better clamp, but is more expensive and functions the same. Save the money!

Not the most robust gadget but it's really not intended for a heavy load. It's just for keeping a hihat stand upright. I'm an aggressive player and I think it's good enough. Design-wise it seems to have a higher degree of adjustability than the (more expensive) DW and Tama versions, which is important because I want the hihat where I want it, not where the bracket says it has to go. I have two other double-bass kits, will buy two more of these brackets.

It works, but its not particularly study, seeing as the rubber clamp doesn't ratchet down on the bass drum. Which is fine since it won't damage the rim, and it keeps the hihat in place just fine, but it could be better.

Excellent clamp for attaching hihat stand to second bass drum so i can get better pedal positioning. The prodict is very well made.
