These are perfect for elementary-aged children. My daughter is a kindergarten teacher and needed some bathroom passes that would last! These are plastic and can be sanitized. They fit perfect around their necks and can easily be removed in case of an emergency. They are also double sided which is helpful for when the tag flips. I would say the plastic at the top of the lanyards comes out easily and I feel like it would be easy for the kids to lose if they yank on it. Also, the seller does have 12 listed, but we only received one box of 6.

I teach 7th grade and this is perfect. I always end up with broken and missing hall passes- so this set is great for me and the 7th grade team that I work with. Sharing is caring.

I am a teacher and need passes for the bathrooms. They are good quality and should at least last the school year. There are 12 in the pack (6 girls and 6 boys). We only send one person to the bathroom at a time so 12 passes should last several years.

What could be simpler than a hall pass, and yet whoever came up with these put a lot of thought into it. The pass part is made of a very durable plastic that is bound to last for quite a while... at least for the girl's bathroom. (It could be made of titanium and the boys would still find a way to abuse it.) The lanyard is made with an emergency release, so the wearer won't get strangled if they get the tag caught up in some machinery. I know, a scenario where a student gets a lanyard caught up in the lathe in shop class seems like a very remote possibility, but if you have been teaching as long as I have, you have witnessed for yourself far stranger events in dumbfounded awe.

Overall, these restroom passes are suitable for the classroom, however, they did arrive in a plastic container that seemed like it had been opened and retaped. This itself wasn’t a problem, however, nearly all of the passes had a small nick on the top near where the lanyard would clip. A few of them even had a small scratch on the back. The passes themselves are quite large and are double-sided. This is a nice feature because no matter how the student wears the lanyard, the pass can be visible. Additionally, the passes are easy to clip to the lanyard. There is a black plastic closure that secures the sides of the lanyard, but it seems to be made of very cheap plastic. It also doesn’t snap as securely as I would like. I do like the larger size and the fact that there are 12 in total, however, I do question how durable these will be for daily use.
