I reviewed the 'pink' set (monkeys, elephants, polka dots, butterflies). These are really nice sized 2.5 foot by over 3 feet. They'll do very well for swaddling babies. The colors are bright on one side and white on the other. Both sides are soft flannel. Edge stitching looks like it will hold. I haven't washed these yet.There are plenty of other colors available to suit your tastes. Overall I'm pleased with these blankets. They'd be welcome by any new parent for swaddles, lightweight covers, and hopefully snuggling as they get softer with use.

These are soft and cute blankets. I wish they were more square-ish so I could use them as a swaddle. They are pretty thin so I will probably use them as a burp cloth.

This is a very nice set of receiving blankets. The flannel is thicker than a cotton blanket and gets very soft after washing. I use Downy fabric softener to keep them soft and fuzzy. The size is great for babies from 0-12 months. I ordered the pink and gray set and the colors are beautiful. They are printed on one side and white on the other. They did a good job with the stitching. Looks like they will last quite a while. Would order these again.

These are cute blankets. Colors look just like the images. Since they are flannel, they are thicker and rougher than a muslin cotton blanket. They did get a smidge softer after washing, but will likely take many washes to be considered 'soft'. These wouldn't be the best blankets for swaddling, because of the material, but they make a great additional blanket for older babies.

These are some great swaddle blankets for newborns. They are soft and comfortable. Very cute colors and designs. They are thin but will keep your baby warm when layered. I can tell that these blankets will be too small to use when my baby is two months but I can still use it to place on him rather than wrapping him in it
