This is a pretty set of 8 fairly standard receiving blankets. The set arrives neatly packaged with a bow, making it ideal for gifting. The set of 8 includes 4 unique prints, with 2 blankets in each print. The colors and designs are dainty, feminine, and pretty.The fabric itself is lightweight and a soft, just slightly fuzzy cotton. The blankets have rounded corners and are square, rather than rectangle like many receiving blankets are. I very much prefer the square design because it just makes more sense when you're folding the blanket into a triangle for swaddling.This set of receiving blankets is great for multi-purpose use and can function as anything from a swaddle to a burp cloth, nursing cover, etc. They can roll or fold up into a very small bundle and be tucked into a side pocket of a diaper bag or purse easily.Overall, this is a very nice value for so many receiving blankets. Cute prints, nicely designed, thorough edge stitching.
