I was reluctant to buy these because of some reviews stating the zipper isn’t long enough to allow room to fit over shoes.I decided to try them anyways for my almost 7 year old son. He is right at 50 lbs and the S/XS fit perfectly. I wish the zippers came up a little higher (I really don’t understand why they don’t), BUT he can get them on and off his high top basketball shoes (size 13.5) with little to no problem.He really loves the pants and kept saying so. I would buy again. I do hope they decide to lengthen the zippers, though. Then I would buy one in every color. 😊I gave 4 stars bc of the zipper length being slightly inconvenient, however, if I could I would give 4.5 Stars.

They run long. Our 7 year old was better suited to a size 6. Verify the size chart for your desired dimension on fit. Zippers, pockets and stitching are high quality.

My son was wanting pants to wear at wrestling tournaments that he could get off over his wrestling shoes. These worked great!
