I use to use a wooden spoon to break up the ground meat. This is fabulous. It does quick work. You have to use a knife to scrape off the meat that clings to it. I wish it was a little smaller. I am a petite woman and this is just a little too big for me. I am not sending it back though. I love it.

With all the cheap plastic meat spatula on the market that melt, and are made of unknown plastics, I have found this one is not only made of high quality food safe silicone it also is extremely sturdy. The center is metal, which means it will not flex and bend at the handle. As a disabled person who has limited wrist mobility and hand issues, these kind of meat mashers are so much easier for a consistent cooked ground meat. I’ve also used this on tofu for scrambled tofu and eggs, and mashing whole tomatoes in stews and sauces. Does not stain (so far) and has seen abusive heavy use and still looks brand new!!! Well worth the price!

I was a delight to use (considering what I had). Comfortable handle and glides around side of the pan. I â¤ï¸ anything silicone.

Well the other one I bought bent in the middle. This one is a trooper. No problem whipping potatoes. Recommend.
