Update- seller offered us a full refund to re-purchase item if we choose to. Great customer service!This heat press is defective. It will not lower to press the patches on. Supposed to be automatic after pressing enter. Just makes a clicking sound and is stuck in the upper position. Did not even get to make one hat successfully. Hopefully we can be contacted for a replacement. Return window was only one month and didn’t get a chance to use it during that time.

I couldn’t wait to try this heat press. It doesn’t always stick the patches to the hat.. I have to use glue to attach the corners that didn’t attach.. not that happy with it.

After plate closes, motor doesn’t stop and continues to try to close further. Makes very loud grinding motor noise.

Update: The sellers contacted me to see if they could send me a new machine. The new machine works properly and presses as expected.I do have to say that I will for the moment still have a fear that the press may not release as it should and trap a hat under the heat and pressure. But I am going to have faith that it will be ok.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I just want to say am not writing this review based off of inexperience, I have multiple heat presses and most of them being auto presses. I own a craft store that focuses on on-demand sublimation products.I was very excited to try this auto hat press just to find out that the heating element doesn’t sit flush with platen. As you can see in the pictures that there is a significant gap near where the brim of your hat would be. As you can see by the hat I pressed that there wasn’t enough pressure as it reached the bottom of the hat. This hat was properly loaded into the press, it should have been perfect!The first test I ran to see what went wrong though was a heat test and the area where the image was faded was up to temp but the back of the heating element was 100° cooler but that didn’t seem to affect the overall press in that spot.The MOST CRITICAL issue beyond the ability to sublimate this hat was so much worse though!!! While running my tests to see what was wrong the auto part stopped working. You could hear the gears trying to move the heating element up but it was stuck! It eventually came back up but sadly it was not an isolated incident. I continued the run through some troubleshooting just to press start again and it refuse to come back up! This is such a hazard!!! If I had a hat under there not only would the hat have gotten ruined while trying to release the press you could burn yourself just trying to figure out why it won’t go back up (ask me how I know).Now I get to pack this press back up and send it back. I wanted to be the one who had a 5 star review for this but sadly this product needs more work before being sold to consumers. It’s not just a safety concern but a bad product all around.I was overall happy with the digital display and size but this product just needs some love. I’d be happy to test out future presses if the company can just fix the issues at hand.

First, I got the machine within 2 days, that's fast...Second is the purple color is cute, my kid said "sooo good...!" LOLAnd it's easy to operate as I imagine...But one thing should be remember, it's hot!!! got to be careful the "head" as it can easy burn your finger ;)...Enjoy...
