I ordered an 8 for my girl who wears a size 6. It is extremely thin--feels like it may disintegrate in the washing machine--and is short and barely wraps across her front to cover her! It is cheap, but maybe cheaper than I would have ordered had I realized just how thin this is.She is happy. The color is pretty and she feels like a queen in it. Doesn't take much to please a 6 year old. Hopefully she will get enough wears out of it to justify the $10 price point.
