I actually got this coat for myself since I'm a very petite woman. For reference, I'm under 5 ft. And fairly thin so I tend to drown in adult sized coats. It's got a good weight to it, it's soft, surprisingly warm and I still have enough room to layer it if I need to during colder weather. Highly recommend it.
