My daughter recently discovered how comfortable silky/satiny pajamas and loungewear can be! At 8 years old, she's at that bittersweet age where she's playing with her babydolls and watching Bluey one moment, and then putting on lipgloss and belting out Taylor Swift lyrics the next. 😂 Anyway, she definitely has a personal style and has started to appreciate things that feel more "fancy". Since she's also fascinated by all things Japanese at the moment, I thought this kimono robe would be perfect for her. I actually meant to order the hot pink floral one but somehow ordered the rose one instead. It doesn't matter that much because 1) the rose (aka a hot pink that leans in a red direction) is beautiful and vibrant; and 2) the price is so, SO good that I can easily order a second one. ;)The kimono is very well made, and the fabric feels amazing. It's the perfect thing for her to wear over her jammies or after a bath. We live in an area that's super hot and humid in the summer and mild in the winter, so this will serve her well for most of the year. I'm very impressed with the quality and beauty of this kimono robe. But color me blown-away when you consider the quality and the fact that it currently runs between $7 to $9 (depending on the colorway). I absolutely recommend buying one! They'd make great gifts for the kids in your life.

The material quality is similar to costume synthetic silk. Considering the price tag, this is a great piece for children's dress up (or a template for mock-ups if you're into sewing). The pink is as advertised.

It is a size 8 vibrant watermelon red color with a ribbon sash for a front closing. It came down as far as her thigh so possibly a sun blocker/bathing suit cover-up at the beach or a wrap after playing in personal backyard swimming pool. The material feels very silky but is machine washable.

This product exceeded my expectations. Material is silky smooth and light. My daughter loves the level of comfort this gives her. Its perfect for a special day, or just simply after a nice pampered bubble bath. The design is very intriguing and it comes in several colors to choose from. Size is appropriate so I do not feel you need to size up or down. This would even be ideal for a costume to get more use out of it than just for comfort. Length it just above the knee on my daughter by 1/4 inch. She is 4 foot 53 lbs and 7 years of age.
