These headbands come with little color tape strips, lots of charms, and sequin patches to decorate them with. It's mostly mermaid/princess girly themed, so it's a perfect holiday gift for any little girl!!!*the glue dots are pretty strong , but they're hard for kids to get the stickers off of th me glue dots. They will need help probably**This was for a 8 and 10 year old, and they had a blast customizing their own headbands. It comes with a lot of material and charms to make lots of different looks!!I decided to hot glue them down once they were done, just so they stayed longer.. and they are absolutely beautiful!!I highly recommend this kit! It's super easy to use and come with a lot of good quality hair stuff inside!!

The craft kit comes with everything you need to make 6 headbands. They can be made as a group craft at a birthday party, or given as a gift in the box. Makes a wonderful birthday gift or Christmas/Easter gift, for girls 5-12 years of age. Makes a great gift for siblings to share and do together, order more kits if there are larger groups. Each headband will cost about 1.67 to make, which is beyond fare for being customized DIY. A single headband can cost $1-10 on average depending on where you buy them, these are a lot more fun because it's a craft.I would like to add, that it may be good to have some jewels and jewel glue handy for more embellishments and you can use buttons, bows, and other findings to further enhance creativity. Glitter, sequins, pearls, etc. Sold separately.

We got this to use as a birthday party craft. All the girls has a blast creating multiple headbands they could take home. The mermaid theme with all the under sea shells, and gems and tails were super cute. As a tip, bring out the hot glue, as the glue dots that come with the craft don't keep the bigger things in place long term.

My 7 year old loves headbands so this was the perfect craft kit for her. The accessories are constructed of quality fabrics and detailed. She loved the mermaid tail with sequins. Plastic headbands are covered in different color ribbons so there is variety. Comes with 6 headbands and more than enough accessories for decorating. No glue so no mess. Comes with sticky tabs but will require several for some accessories to ensure they stick well and unfortunately there are not enough included.. this was the only drawback.

This headband making kit will give the granddaughter plenty of time to work with her creativity. Lots of things to work with inside the box. A good challenge for young people to find their artistic side. Very good deal.
