These are thick and great for winter. They do make my daughter's shoes fit tighter so that may be an issue for some kids. They always come out of the dryer still damp so I hang them to dry or pop them back in the dryer by themselves for awhile.

Ordered these for my 18 month old son. The socks are a little big for him now but they might shrink in the washer and dryer later. These socks will last him for at least a year or two.The material is very thick and feels sturdy enough to last through rough playing. The thickness will also work perfect for snow boots since the length is longer over the ankles and will keep warm in cold conditions. One thing that would make the socks even better would be having a grippy bottom.

Your Son will love these socks. They are thick, & soft so know his feet will stay warm in the cold weather. I love the way they feel.
