THERMOSTAT CONTROL
Thermostat Control Adjustable Venting allows you to custom-tune airflow instantly with a simple, low profile control button on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or easier to adjust, and nothing is more effective at keeping you comfortable.
IN FORM 2 FIT SYSTEM
The In Form 2 Fit System is lighter and lower-profile than the original, and easier to dial in a custom fit in seconds - even with gloves on. An improved dial design provides up to 6cm of adjustment plus enhanced stability.
FIDLOCK MAGNETIC BUCKLE CLOSURE
The pinch-free one-handed Fidlock magnetic snap helmet buckle combines the advantages of two fastening concepts in a completely new way: Strong magnets make it easy to open and close, while a secure snap functionality ensures a continuous locking force.

I’ve had 2 giro helmets. Both have had their ear flap come out of its plastic socket. While the rest of the helmet is great and it fits my round head, I’ll not be buying another one due to quality.

To be frank, there are more dislikes than likes. The helmet seems to be reliable and provide expected level of protection, however, I did not have a chance to test it. In terms of negative things: 1. The helmet can hardly be worn without balaclava or hat; if you need to tighten the size adjuster, metal stripe is cutting into the ear. 2. Entire helmet creaks terribly. 3. Size adjusting is inconvenient and the adjusting wheel can be easily rotated if you accidentally tilt your head back. Overall - disappointed with product for such price.

The back of the helmet interferes with my jacket collar and rotates the helmet forward when looking up. This pushes my goggles down which pinches my nose. They all seem to do this but the Giro not quite as much. The magnetic chin strap clasp is nice but the geometry of how the strap threads into the clasp is wrong so it is constantly getting loose. The vents don't fully close so my head gets cold at higher speeds but that's what balaclavas are for... Mostly happy with it but it could be better.

Il casco é costoso, considerando che ci sono alternative a meno della metá del prezzo; peró ovviamente la tecnologia e la sicurezza si pagano, e MiPs/spherical é la migliore al momento. Non essendo uno sciatore professionista (parecchie cadute ogni stagione) ho optato per la massima sicurezza possibile.Per il resto il casco é molto comodo, leggerissimo e facilmente regolabile.
