I decided to try these filters in my Life Straw system since they were on sale for Prime Days. I'm glad I did! They seem comparable to the Life Straw filters at a better price. My water tastes so much better than tap with these filters that I even use filtered water for cooking and when refilling my pets' water bowls. Give these a try!

Love this filter and pitcher. The sour aftertaste is only the first few uses. It tastes fine after repeated use. Very good filtration system

It doesn’t feel like glass. It’s so light and smooth feeling. The water taste great and it looks nice on the counter. It’s easy to fill, and easy to assemble. If I could afford it, I’d buy one for everybody I know.

This not glass....it states on the box, handblown shatter-resistant glass, FDA food grade compliant material!!!! First of all, when it says FDA and China made, it's a lie!! Second, shame on you Amazon for selling an item that is false. This is fraud when you try to pass this on. I will look further into this. I certainly do not recommend this item if you want GLASS!!

i hate micro-plastics, i think it will be extremely harmful for us. SO i wanted a glass water pitcher. It's good - it works, but my wife still complains about the chlorine flavor. We ordered a Brita Glass from UK - much better but it broke so we got this one.

It makes me happy to open the fridge and see this pitcher. The water tastes better and all my family like it. It's a good size for my fridge, fitting under the lower part where the ice maker takes up some space. I love that it's glass. I rarely leave a review but this is a great product

Ok, this is actually very big BUT it works.. I would definitely buy this if you're looking to keep a jug out on the table all day, so you (and the family) drink lots of water regularly. OR if you have a really big fridge.Having said this, the filter does a cracking job, I live in London in a super hard-water area and the filter definitely does its job. Personally, I like having room temperature water out on our dining table.. I tend to walk past and just pour a cup regularly that way. So, 5 stars from me. I hope this has been helpful to someone.

I set this up, gave it a wash, rinsed the filter as instructed, and poured some water in. This takes a lot of water so be sure to run the tap several times to fill it fully as the filter fills about 4 or 5x to fill the jug completely.It is very heavy when full, with all the glass and water.Immediately, my tap water was totally different. No lingering chlorine tastes or sharpness, just cool, smooth, filtered glacial tasting water. I let a few drips dry on the glass... no residue!Living in a hard water area with strong water treatment, this has transformed my drinking water. You only need to fill the jug once a day.The only downside is the sheer size of it, in the fridge it takes up a lot of room and may not fit under shelves, and may be too heavy to live in the door. So for now, it lives on the table, and looks fantastic.Re-fills for the cartridge are about £20 to £30 depending on which type you go for. This comes with the micro particulate one as standard which filters more slowly but removes more junk from the water

At first I could not believe it wasn't plastic but learned its made with a special type of glass and silicone. We love using it everyday and it is very stylish in our house
