The adage of getting the right tool for the job rather than a tool that does everything poorly applies to both of these tools. I used the clutch holder to take off a pulley on my engine, and the snap ring pliers for a snap ring on the pulley. The adjustable clutch holder points require some other tool to torque the points down hard enough to not move. Also, not the fault of the tool really, but due to manually setting those points, it's almost impossible to have all 3 points be in contact when turning. It will be two which hugely increases slippage potential. The snap ring pliers didn't go deep enough for my job, and the modular top of the pliers would slip off if you need to push down a lot on the snap ring. Next time I'll get a non-adjustable clutch holder. 4 stars because I think these tools would be useful if you aren't doing something in a small space or doing something requiring no chance of slipping.
