These are small switches that fit perfectly into solderless breadboards or prototyping breadboards or whatever you want to call them. These are perfect for breadboard projects or simple prototypes. These are not industrial grade, 1 million cycle switches. These are however, small enough to fit on a breadboard, easier to use than a dip switch, and priced fairly for a bag of 50.

These aren't particularly high quality and the casing is kept in position by clasps which can cause a short if the casing is too close to the PCB development board. They're ok for development projects but if you're looking for something more permanent I'd recommend something of higher quality.
