These are a heavy weight and look "upscale." They will fit in with any decor. You can melt a little of the candle wax into the bottom to secure any wax candles. I didn't try any flameless tapers, but they should fit or you can use a rubber band around the bottom if they are too narrow for the opening. Overall, a good value for the quantity, quality and price.

Well, I needed-6, now I have 5, because one came cracked. The crack is large at the bottom; there was a small piece of broken glass in the box, that didn't match the large crack. Therefore, it must have been done in producing it and boxing it, not after it was boxed and boxed again for shipping. So, I say, a production oversight. Now, I have to either order another set of 6 or just deal with having 5, which wasn't my plan. In the scheme of life, no biggie. In my planning and budget, a "bump in the road".
