We're moving away from plastic and I needed a container for our paper straws. This brings me right back to my childhood soda fountain in the 50s. Works great and looks good in our kitchen.

This is a nice place to have straws. The entire thing is glass, giving it a clean look. It can easily slip off the counter when you're getting a straw out so be careful.

It reminds me of the good old days when I was a child. It's glass and metal and constructed well. I like it much better than the plastic wannabe that I tossed.

I feel fancy every time I go for a straw. You can put pretty paper ones in here and feel fancy too.

The bottom edges are very rounded making this rock a bit even when set on a flat surface. The metal dish that holds the straws seems small given the amount of space all around it in the jar. When filling, the straws tend to fall on the edges and not in the dish because there is so much space all around. It functions well once the straws are in the bottom dish but overall the design could use some improvement

This is REAL glass, not acrylic. Perfect size for straws, and lends a classic sophistication to my kitchen for straw storage and dispensing. I looked around for awhile to find something that didn’t look cheap, and this is perfect!
