Love my teapot! I was worried that it wouldn't work with an electric stove but it hasn't been a problem at all. The handle doesn't get so hot you can't touch it either. It's so cute and works like a charm. Highly recommend this!

Seemed fragile when I got it,but it's so cute.its not bulky very elegant looking and I loved how it pours and it won't spill. It does have a max line wished it was a little bit more capacity. Serves maybe 2 coffee mugs..I love it has the middle section to put loose tea and you don't have to worry about it going in your cup. Easy to use worth the price. Does what its meant to do.

It works very well, I do wish the infuser went down lower to the bottom because you have to more than a pint of tea in order for the leaves to touch the water, but I will just drop the infuser into the cup and hit it with the hot water instead. All the people leaving negative reviews of shattered teapots were most likely ripping it on hot heat or directly over a gas flame. On a glass top electric stove this teapot works great.

A really great teakettle- goes from stovetop to a table top. We’d owned many of these through the years - they are glass and fragile as excepted. I do prefer the older lid design- two parts vs three parts new design. The new bigger size is awesome!

I am a very careful person who always take good care of my kitchen stuff and cookware. I was in love with this teapot UNTIL one day the upper side of the glass handle cracked just out of the blue ! while I never filled the pot to its maximum or never put it on a direct flame. It only worked for 9 months while my previous glass pot worked 5years for me and eventually I was moving and left it behind.such a quality is a shame!

Not exactly as described on the Amazon listing however I am pleased with it. Quality overall is good, however, the glass is missing the scale lines, the lid does not have the hinge so you do have to hold the lid when you pour, it also did not come with the mesh filter for the smallest tea leaves. Definitely one for herbal loose teas only, and seeing other reviews I won't be trying it on the stove. But it looks nice and works well for what I need it for.
