We can only afford two of these snifter glasses but well worth it. A joy to use with our favorite brandy or cognac and we also use them on the rocks with our favorite liquor, the traditional B & B. The box that these glasses came in is gorgeous and is a keeper!

This set arrived quickly and well packaged. The two snifters are packaged in an elegant textured easy-open black box with gold writing. ( I included a picture with flash to show the texture on the box.) Once you remove the lid you will see a velveteen covered foam layer. Upon lifting that you see the lovely hand blown glasses nestled in opulent satin fabric. It's really a wow! presentation.The glasses are of upper mid level quality. They are relatively thin, which tends to be a sign of high end stemware. The stem is tall enough to comfortably fit between two fingers in the hand as is typically the method of drinking a cordial. There were no bubbles in the glass, and both pieces were well matched in size.Overall very impressive product that I would be proud to give as a gift.

For those wanting to dabble in whisky/whiskey, cognac, or other sipping liquors, these make an attractive gift to get started. I wouldn't recommended for the established folks so much given the inconsistent quality of the stemware, but for those looking to get started they can be a great way to see what they like. The wide base allows palm warming and easy holding with a lovely wide glass for enjoying the aromatics.

I got these for special occasions, and they are really great goblets/snifters. They do seem to be real crystal if the ringing noise they make when struck is any indication, and they just FEEL like good quality glassware. Nice and heavy base, thick walls and a good feel. And like i said... a satisfying 'clingggggg' when toasted or rung. The bottom of the glass is nice and wide to get my whole hand underneath and warm the spirits, and the crystal holds onto the warmth pretty well also. The flared top helps carry the smell of whatever you're drinking, apparently enhancing the experience. I'm not THAT much of a liquor snob, so i wouldn't even know what to look for when it comes to the 'nose' of the spirits, but hey... i can smell my brandy more and i like the smell of it... so i'll take that as a plus. My only real 'complaint' is that these are BIG. I usually only drink 3-5oz at a time, and these 15oz glasses are pretty darn big, so all the liquor sits at the bottom and-- thanks to my hand-- gets a little warmer than i would like. A smaller glass would dissipate the heat better, but again... not the end of the world at all. These would make an amazing gift, as the box is gorgeous and has a satin liner that really makes the glasses pop. All in all, a great product.

These are nice, economical glasses. Perfect if you want the proper glass, but not looking to break the bank k glassware. Are they the top of the line glass? No. But they will definitely suffice. They have a nice weight to them and look elegant.

Beautiful glassware in a fancy box. The glasses are thick - which is a nice surprise. The gift box is striking. The glasses have no visible flaws - no warping, no chips, and they're perfectly clear. The opening is perfect for comfortable breathing of the aromas while sipping, and the glass is comfortable to hold. Wonderful set; they will be part of the glassware collection of this household for many years to come.
